What we love about this deodorant is that it is easy to make and apply. Baking soda helps soaks up the oil and odor while lavender gives your dogs coat an oh so pleasant scent without attracting bugs and pest. Hey, you may forget you have a dog!
1. Sift the baking soda and the lavender into a bowl to combine. Apply the powder mixture to your dog's coat a teaspoon at a time, working it through the fur to the skin. Let the powder sit on the dog for 10 to 15 minutes.
2. Groom the dog with the brush, removing the majority of the powder from its coat.
3. Run a baby wipe over the dog's fur to remove any remaining baking soda mixture. Avoid using the wipes on your dog's face and near eyes.
4. Repeat this procedure once a month in between bathes, if necessary.
