Lola's "Woof Review":
One of my favorite things to do as a dog besides eat, sleep, play fetch is to go to the park and chase squirrels and go on a sniffing scavenger hunt. It is always so much fun to go to the park with my parents there is always so much to see, do, and of course smell. Going to the park is a great way to socialize and explore nature. So, when I came across this book I new it was a book after my own heart. It is a wonderful tail of one dogs day at the park and the paw pals he meets. No longer do you humans need to wonder what we are thinking just read the this bark worthy read into the secret lives (not a secret anymore) of us pups. This book is filled with so much drama and suspense it will have you on the edge of your seat wondering whats next and who Goody will meet. She teaches proper dog ettiquette on the meet & sniff greeting. This book teaches dogs and humans the dos and don'ts of socializing, it is always important to know what furry canines are friends or foe. So, But you have to read to find that one out.
Brief Synopsis: Meet Goody Beagle. Every day she goes to the Dog Park, where she sees her friends and finds out what's up. They chase balls and each other. They wrestle and play tug. They sniff butt. They enjoy being dogs.
An opinionated beagle visits her local dog park every day and records what happened -- who was there, what they did, what they said and thought, what games they played, and especially what they smelled.
Goody Beagle brought her human with her to write it all down, and invited a photographer to come along too, to capture the dogs of the dog park in pictures. It's a doggy soap opera come to life!
If you have a dog and visit your local dog park, you will recognize the inter-canine dynamics on every page. If you don't have a dog, reading this book might motivate you to visit one, just so you can experience the drama of what goes on there.
You may never smell things in the same way again.

The book looks hilarious! I might have to buy if I don't win... :)
Would love to win this one. Wish we could get a dog park in our small town!
Morgan loves the dog park, especially when he sees his friend Kona the Shiba Inu.. took awhile for him to figure out why she would stalk him and then run straight at him usually barreling him over.. then she realized he was playing and it's been good times since then! It's the only place mom will let him run around all crazy and he can chase to his hearts content!
My dog, Bunny, loves the dog park because she can live up to her name there. She'll grab a ball and lead an entire pack of dogs on a merry chase.
What an adorable book! I would love to read about the sweet Beagle!
Ooh I would love to win this book!! So adorable!! How fun!! :) Thanks for doing the giveaway.

Pick me! Pick me! Pick me! A new dog park just opened a few months ago nearby and we've met lots of new friends. That's the best part for me.
I haven't read it but will order one up! Thanks for the review!
this looks like fun :)
i love dog parks--especially when they have the corgi meet ups....us corgi pups love to ....party!-- the humans have fun too!
following both of you on twitter
I live in Western PA so it's tough to get to a dog park in the winter 'cause it's too dang cold! But my lab, Coal and I love going there. He has a BLAST. We can't wait to go back!
Molly loves the dog park! She's an australian shepherd so she views the dog park as an opportunity to "herd" the different dogs as if they were sheep! She's a little shy to play, however, but when a group of pups goes running, she will chase after them in order to keep them in order. It's hilarious!
My beagle Anni loves the dog park because she always loves sniffing everything around her. She also loves to chase us when we run around the park. It's always so much fun to see her playing with that huge smile on her face.
Well, I don't have a dog. I have a cat. she likes watching the park at the corner and meowing obscenities at the dogs going to it.
She also likes to threaten to tear all 8 of our neighbor dogs faces off.
They just look at her and smirk, since she is too much a scardy cat to leave the yard.
I am both a dog and a cat person. We had 200+ stray cats living on our farm and had 4 family dogs and 12 family pet cats.
I loved our dogs and our cats. Our Rhodesian ridgeback used to sneak out of the yard to play with the kids at the neighborhood park, while the two poodles loved to travel with my folks and visit all sorts of dog parks around the 5 different states.
If I won a copy of the book I would read it, writer a few reviews on it, and then pass it on to the dog loving neighbors.
So funny, My dogs love to go but they want 25.00 a year per dog with a max of 2 dogs. That counts us out. I would love to read this book.
Fantastic, sounds like a must read!
I just got a rescue lab/shepherd/+ mutt at the shelter in November and she is a great dog for taking to a dog park! My little old beagle though is not very social anymore but they are so cute together!

I've been helping volunteer for a new off-leash group here in Shoreline, WA. It's not easy, but there will finally be two dog parks in this town that previously had none! We're at Shoredog.org; stop by if you're in the area.
My dog Mina loves to play frisbee more than anything, even eating! She can't wait until there's finally a place she can run and play with other dogs. She was a rescue from Ginger Luke's "Death Row Dog Rescue" here in the Seattle area, and while she had a hard life before we got her, she's turned into our sweet, charming pup, and changed our lives in so many ways. I want to help get the new dog parks established to pay her back for some of the joy she's brought us! Here she is with her beloved frisbee in the snow: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sonya/3119300054/in/set-72157605571716314/
My human drags me to the dog park every day. she says to "socialize" me. I'm a lone wolf, I tell her, but she insists that because I don't seem to know how to play, I have to learn.
She says she wants to get me into "agility" classes—whatever that is—this spring, because I'm such a high jumper. Whatever. As long as I can just chase that ball and don't have to deal with other dogs too much, it'll be all right.

Such a creative idea for a book! Dog parks have so many untold stories.
Goody Beagle here. I wish all you commenters came to MY dog park in Seattle -- then we could smell together, cuz you know there's nothing better than smelling to form a lasting friendship.
